This looks super fun! Would love people to join! Join in celebration of Bernie's Coffee Shop and our 10 years of community building and people power! For the past decade, Bernie's Coffee Shop has stood strong at the Wilshire/Fairfax corner as a beacon of community building and people power. What started out as a one-night media stunt for the Bernie Sanders campaign in 2016 turned into a hub of social justice work for all of Southern California, as well as an important destination for social justice-minded travelers, tourists, candidates and organizers from all over the world. The team at Community Solidarity Projects (501(c)(3)) has stewarded the building and hosted community oriented events and mutual aid efforts. Sadly, our time at the former Johnie's Coffee Shop restaurant has come to a close. We invite the community one last time in our beloved space to celebrate our accomplishments, to reminisce, and to talk about what comes next for Community Solidarity Project.
