version 1.1 | last updated July 15, 2026

Platform conduct rules - effective [effective date: launch day]

THE PLATFORM MODELWashedUp helps independent people discover and coordinate. Plans, Communities, and Events are not supervised or guaranteed by WashedUp. The organizer identified on the listing is responsible for the activity; each participant decides whether to join and must use their own judgment.

1. treat people like people

  • No harassment, threats, stalking, exploitation, retaliation, hate, unlawful discrimination, sexual misconduct, coercion, or unwanted contact. Respect boundaries, blocks, removals, and consent.

2. be real and accurate

  • Use your real identity or authorized organization identity. No impersonation, fake affiliations, deceptive listings, fabricated attendance, fake scarcity, scams, undisclosed sponsorship, or misleading prices.

3. independent plans and events

  • Do not call an independent activity a “WashedUp event” or imply WashedUp organizes, supervises, certifies, insures, or guarantees it.
  • Organizers must accurately identify themselves and remain responsible for venue permission, permits, admission, accessibility, safety measures, vendors, refunds, and legal compliance.
  • Participants choose whether to meet or attend, follow organizer and venue rules, and leave or contact emergency services if necessary.
  • WashedUp may moderate or restrict Platform access, but it cannot monitor every interaction or control offline conduct.

4. prohibited activities and content

  • No illegal goods or services, sexual exploitation, trafficking, weapons sales, dangerous instructions, financial or health guarantees, fraudulent investment activity, or activity likely to cause serious harm.
  • No infringement, malware, credential theft, scraping, access bypass, data export, outside spam, or use of Platform data for profiling or AI training without permission.
  • No collection or exposure of sensitive personal information through posts, questions, screenshots, or member lists.

5. reporting and enforcement

Report rule violations through available tools. In emergencies, contact local emergency services. WashedUp may remove Content, limit discovery, messaging, community, ticketing, or account access, preserve evidence, process refunds, and cooperate with authorities. These actions are discretionary Platform enforcement and do not create a guarantee that WashedUp will detect or prevent every violation or offline harm.
